SEAN WILLIAMS

Sean Williams is a bestselling, multi-award-winning author of sixty books and over one hundred and twenty short stories.

Many of these were written for young readers, some with friend and collaborator Garth Nix, others set in the Star Wars universe. His recent novels Impossible Music and Her Perilous Mansion were nominated for the Ethel Turner Prize for Young People’s Literature and the Patricia Wrightson Prize for Children’s Literature respectively. Both are Children’s Book Council of Australia Notable Books. He is the Discipline Lead of creative writing at Flinders University and recipient of the Australian Antarctica Division’s Art Fellowship.

He lives on Kaurna Country (Adelaide) in South Australia.
