Ella Forever – School Rivals has arrived!

Congratulations to Festival Presenter Serena Geddes on the release of her first graphic novel Ella Forever: School Rivals, on the 1st of February 2026!

In this fun and energetic story, Ella begins Year 6, ready to take on the excitement (and challenges!) of being in the top year of primary school. When it’s time to vote for school captain, her long‑time rival Peach Parker is determined to stand in her way—maybe even with a few not‑so‑friendly tricks. Can Ella rise above the rivalry and find a better way to win the top job?

This all‑new graphic novel adventure brings fresh life to the much‑loved Ella Universe, marking the first time a new artist has illustrated the series. With Serena’s bright visuals and heartfelt storytelling, readers can expect a story full of friendship, competition, and staying true to yourself.

Serena will be joining us at Once Upon a Festival later this year, sharing her creative process and the inspiration behind bringing Ella’s Year 6 world to life. Stay tuned for session details…
